On Friday, September 22, 2023, the North Carolina General Assembly passed their biennial budget, which runs from July 2023 to June 2025. This budget included two provisions of particular interest to agents, brokers, consultants, account managers and other benefit professionals in our State. 

 

Federal Advocacy

NABIP members work every day with individuals, families and employers of all sizes to help them purchase health insurance coverage. NABIP works tirelessly to ensure the future and stability of our industry. Our advocacy helps to advance the interests of health insurance professionals and to promote affordable, reasonable private health insurance market solutions. 

The purpose of the NABIP's Political Action Committee (NABIP - PAC) is to raise funds from members for the purpose of supporting  federal political campaigns of candidates who believe in private sector solutions for the health and financial security of all Americans. Contributions to this PAC support federal policy initiatives only. If you wish to support policy initiatives in North Carolina, please contribute to NCPAC.

NABIPNC's General Assembly Action Committee is responsible for working with State leaders in both legislative chambers, the Department of Insurance and other like minded Associations to further healthcare policy that aligns with the mission and goals of this association.

The purpose of the NABIP-NC Political Action Committee is to raise funds from members for the purpose of supporting the political campaigns of candidates running for North Carolina office who believe in private section solutions for the health and financial security of the citizens of North Carolina.
